This year's almost over and I don't have any of my shit together. MoB's in panic mode; this should be a fun ride.

I thought I'd peal myself away from the CBS homepage to update here a bit -- Star Trek can wait, I guess.

My leg still aches a bit, but it's totally not as bad as it was. I've been taking my naproxen twice a day like I'm technically supposed to do. It makes a HUGE difference, and now I remember why my doctor prescribed it in the first place! Yay no aches and pains! ... Boo no stomach lining though... not that I had any left after a lifetime of ibuprofen.

Yesterday I wallowed around on my tummy, on the floor, as I worked on a big watercolor, pencil, and marker piece for my beloved, ~SeverelyDetached. I'll have to post a picture of it, but I'll have to find my camera and take one. I have to admit, I'm insanely proud of myself -- I ususally only work on a very small scale. I haven't done a large piece since my AP Art class! It was sooooo nice!

Will be doing one in a similar style for my internet-bff: =Amaris--Miakoda, because she needs a wonderful birthday/ holiday gift. (This proves I'm a suck-y friend, because I have to combine these presents!)

Ugh. Off to sleep! Work tomorrow... gross.


PS - THERE IS A BARN OWL ON MY WINDOW SEAL. IT'S LOOKING AT ME, AND ALL I CAN THINK IS "DAVID BOWIE?!"
That was pretty cool... I've never seen a wild owl up close. I hope this means I'll have a better day tomorrow (or, you know, today... since it's 12:03AM...)

Ugh. Gross! Let's get all of that angst off of my front page.

I've been in a watercolor mood, recently. I haven't done much other than dream of pictures and sketch a bit. At some point this coming weekend, I need to paint some stuffs up.

Let's see... news about me... um. ~SeverelyDetached and I decided we would make squeaky voodoo dolls for doggies. We have like, a gazillion squeakers, which apparently you can order in bulk. We both went and stalked around Hobby Lobby earlier this evening. I almost wish my doggie, Buddy, had been with us. He is a squeaky toy expert and I hope the material we settled on won't be too easy for him to rip through.

That's about the extent of my life this week. Other than that, I dealt with a drunk and (most likely already) crazy person at work. But then, that's what most of our practice is. SO NOT AWESOME AFTER A WHILE. I want more normal clients!
